Decades of knowledge and innovation

The asphalt mixture preparation station, model BENNINGHOVEN Competence "BA 4000", is used for the production of asphalt mixtures and poured asphalt according to specific recipes for road and bridge works. The plant operates outdoors and is fed with bitumen, additives, fillers and mineral aggregates.

The station includes multiple components such as mineral warehouses, dispensers, conveyor belts, drying drum, burner, dedusting station, hot aggregate elevator, mixer, control booth and various other equipment necessary for the asphalt mixture production process.

There is also a bituminous emulsion plant for the preparation of cationic fast breaking bituminous emulsion fed with bitumen, water, emulsifiers and precursors. This installation is protected by a roof to protect it from the elements.

Asphalt Mixture Preparation Station

Feeding Predosers

Mineral aggregates are brought to the station and stored in separate paddocks. They are loaded into pre-dispensers using a front loader. Predosers are equipped with automatically controlled dosing systems to ensure a continuous and uniform supply to the drying drum.

Drying and Heating of Aggregates

Agregatele sunt transportate prin intermediul benzilor transportoare în tamburul de uscare, unde sunt expuse la temperaturi ridicate printr-un arzător alimentat cu gaz metan. Procesul de uscare elimină umezeala și pregătește agregatele pentru amestecare.

În malaxor, agregatele uscate și bitumul sunt amestecate împreună cu filerul și aditivii conform rețetelor specifice. Malaxorul este echipat cu palete rotative care asigură o amestecare omogenă și eficientă a materialelor.

Storage and Delivery

Mixtura asfaltică este descărcată din malaxor și transportată prin intermediul unui elevator către buncărul de stocare. De aici, mixtura este încărcată în camioane pentru a fi livrată către șantierele de construcție a drumurilor și podurilor.

Bituminous Emulsion Station

1. Preparation of Raw Materials

Bitumen, water, emulsifiers and other necessary components are brought to the bituminous emulsion station. They are stored in separate tanks, protected by a roof to avoid exposure to atmospheric agents.

2. Mixing

The bitumen is heated and mixed with emulsifiers and water in a specialized reactor. Mixing is done under controlled pressure and temperature to ensure a quality emulsion with properties suitable for use in road construction.

3. Storage and Delivery

Bituminous emulsion is stored in specialized tanks before delivery. From here, it is loaded into tanker trucks to be transported to the places of use.
